Chad Finchum will get back behind the wheel of a NASCAR Cup Series vehicle later this month, returning to MBM Motorsports to pilot the No. 66 Ford Mustang Dark Horse in the Straight Talk Wireless 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

After a successful outing with the team’s Xfinity Series program earlier this season, Green Light Performance Products will return to MBM Motorsports for a primary sponsorship of its NASCAR Cup Series entry. The Florida-based company is a manufacturer of specialized batteries, oils, oil additives, coolant additives, fuel treatment, and connectors for portable and whole-home generators.

Aires Tech, a new partner of MBM Motorsports, will serve as an associate sponsor of the No 66 Ford Mustang Dark Horse for the October 27 event. The company is dedicated to bridging the gap between technology and wellness with the mission of providing cutting-edge solutions that protect against electromagnetic frequencies without disrupting the everyday use of technology.

“We jumped at the chance to create the first-ever 100% electromagnetic field radiation-neutral race team, showcasing technology that proudly protects Chad and his crew in a high-octane environment that requires split-second reaction time and performance,” said Josh Bruni, CEO, Aires Tech.

“Groundbreaking moments like this raise awareness about the potential risks of EMF radiation from wireless technology and devices and steps available to neutralize the potentially harmful effects of EMF radiation. We commend Chad and the MBM Motorsports team for their pioneering approach in integrating this technology into their raceday regimen.”

Aires Tech will also be hosting sweepstakes, offering race fans a chance to win an all-access VIP NASCAR experience. Fans can enter by visiting the company’s landing page from now through October 20.

“I love racing at Homestead from managing tire wear to ripping the fence,” driver Chad Finchum said. “It is exciting to welcome both new and old partners to the team again in Miami. Green Light Performance helps homeowners with the maintenance of their home generators, a critical role in disaster preparedness. Meanwhile, Aires Tech devices have greatly helped my race preparation. Aires Tech products have reduced my exposure to electromagnetic waves during my training on the simulator, giving me an environment to produce peak performance on track. Being mentally focused is paramount in motorsports.”

Carl Long, owner of MBM Motorsports, provided his thoughts on the return of Green Light Performance Products and the new addition of Aries Tech.

“We are proud to have Green Light Performance Products return to the team in Miami. Their ownership group has been a tremendous team partner over the years. We are excited to continue our relationship,” team owner Carl Long said. “We are also welcoming Aires Tech to the team and to the sport. Working in the race shop and tracks, you don’t realize the magnitude of electromagnetic fields from cell phones, laptops, Wi-Fi signals, and other data transmission that can affect you in a negative manner. Aires Tech gives us an edge in protecting ourselves and will allow us to reach our maximum performance.”

The Straight Talk Wireless 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway will take place on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at 2:30 PM ET on NBC. Radio coverage of the event will be on the Motor Racing Network (MRN) and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Channel 90).
