Michael McDowell will have a brand new look on his No. 34 Front Row Motorsports Ford Mustang this weekend in the Wise Power 400 at Auto Club Speedway, as Stage Front Tickets will mark their first-ever primary sponsorship in NASCAR.

Front Row Motorsports first announced this sponsorship, which will also be in place for next weekend’s race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, for McDowell back on February 9th.

For McDowell, who finished seventh in the season-opening Daytona 500, he hopes to continue piling on good finishes to start the 2022 campaign.

“We really have hit the ground running with our program this season with Blake leading our crew,” stated McDowell in a team release. “The amount of work and preparation that he and the entire team have put into the cars this off-season has been something of a well oiled machine. We have already had a lot of success between the Clash and Speedweeks at Daytona, and I’m excited to see what we have out in California this weekend.”

McDowell, 37, sits seventh in the NASCAR Cup Series championship standings by virtue of his good finish at Daytona. The driver, who worked his way into the 2021 NCS Playoffs, will look to continue his quest for a second-career Playoff berth as the NASCAR Cup Series heads into their West Coast swing beginning this weekend.

The NASCAR Cup Series has not visited Auto Club Speedway since the 2020 season, due to COVID protocols. In 11-career starts at Auto Club Speedway, McDowell has a best finish of 22nd, which came in his last start at the track. McDowell also turned the eighth-fastest lap in qualifying for that event.
