Live Fast Motorsports will have a brand new sponsorship partner to kick off the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season, as SkyView Partners, a Wayzata, Minnesota and Manhattan Beach, California-based investment bank and specialty lender, will serve as the primary sponsor for the No. 78 team in the Busch Light Clash at the LA Memorial Coliseum.

With this race serving as an experiment by NASCAR to run a race inside an existing iconic American stadium, the buzz heading into the event has become very interesting. People are intrigued by what could be an experience that is unlike anything ever seen in NASCAR.

“Live Fast Motorsports is happy to have SkyView Partners as our first sponsor of the year,” said co-owner, Matt Tifft. “We are thrilled to be SkyView Partners’ first NASCAR Cup Series sponsor and host them at the Coliseum for a new and unusual weekend in the sport. The competitive unveiling of the new Next Gen car, quarter-mile asphalt track around the football field, and performance by Ice Cube all make CLASH a once in a lifetime NASCAR experience.”

BJ McLeod, Live Fast Motorsports co-owner, will drive the car on February 6th as he attempts to make the Main Event for the Clash.

SkyView Partners are antsy as the anticipation builds for next weekend’s race.

“SkyView Partners is excited to partner with Live Fast Motorsports for the first NASCAR event of the season,” said CEO, Scott Wetzel, JD. “The Busch Light CLASH at the Coliseum is truly a unique opportunity to sponsor as NASCAR comes to Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum for the first time. Our entire organization looks forward to working with the Live Fast team.”

This is not SkyView Partners’ first foray into the NASCAR world, as the company was the primary sponsor for Tommy Joe Martins and the No. 44 NASCAR Xfinity Series team in two races back in 2020.

Live Fast Motorsports, in 2021, their first NASCAR Cup Series season as an organization, the No. 78 team scored a best finish of ninth at the summer race at Daytona International Speedway and ranked 32nd in the year-end NASCAR Cup Series owner standings.
