PPG Industries – a partner of over thirty-five years over the numerous branches of the Team Penske organization — will go back-to-back-to-back this August with Team Penske drivers Joey Logano and Austin Cindric.

The company will sponsor three races in the month of August, on board Joey Logano’s No. 22 Ford Mustang in the NASCAR Cup Series for the August 16 event at Daytona International Speedway’s Road Course, before sponsoring Austin Cindric’s No. 22 Ford Mustang in the Dover doubleheader on August 22 and 23, as Cindric looks to further extend his regular season points lead on Ford teammate Chase Briscoe.

In twenty starts as a sponsor in the NASCAR Cup Series, PPG Industries has nine top-ten finishes, including the companies best NASCAR Cup Series result posted earlier this season at Martinsville, with a third-place finish by Brad Keselowski.

In the NASCAR Xfinity Series, PPG Industries has picked up a total of two victories in twelve starts as a sponsor in the series – eleven of which have been with Team Penske, while Morgan Shepherd carried PPG Industries sponsorship for an event in 2012 –including victories by Joey Logano – Charlotte 2016 — and Austin Cindric – Mid-Ohio 2019.

PPG sponsored Austin Cindric earlier this season in the NASCAR Xfinity Series’ first ever doubleheader at Homestead-Miami Speedway, while also sponsoring Brad Keselowski in the NASCAR Cup Series event at Martinsville Speedway earlier this year.
