Phoenix Raceway will continue to host championship weekend for each of NASCAR’s National Series in 2025, the sanctioning body confirmed on Thursday. The one-mile oval in Avondale, Arizona has been the destination for the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season-finale since 2020.

As previously confirmed by NASCAR’s brand-new television rights agreement, NBC Sports is set to broadcast the NASCAR Cup Series season finale, which will take place on Sunday, November 2, 2025.

“Our fans are the heart and soul of Phoenix Raceway, and they create an unforgettable atmosphere for NASCAR Championship Weekend,” said Phoenix Raceway President Latasha Causey. “They fill the grandstands and hillside and pack the GEICO Gecko Campground, which is nothing short of the best camping experience in all of NASCAR.”

Also crowning their champions at Phoenix Raceway in 2025 will be the NASCAR Xfinity Series (November 1) and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (October 31).

The reveal of Phoenix Raceway keeping its slot as the host of championship weekend comes during a week filled with news about the 2025 NASCAR schedules. As of May 16, four different dates have been confirmed.

To start the points-paying season, the 2025 Daytona 500 will take place on Sunday, February 16 with FOX Sports broadcasting. Prime Video begins its five-race stretch with the Coca-Cola 600 on Memorial Day Weekend.

Earlier this week, TNT Sports announced it would televise a bracket-style, in-season tournament during its five-race portion of the season, which is set to begin at Atlanta Motor Speedway on June 28 — removing the superspeedway-adjacent track from the post-season.

The announcements come as NASCAR’s television rights agreement, split between FOX Sports, NBC Sports, Amazon’s Prime Video, and TNT Sports (a division of Warner Bros. Discovery), is set to debut at the start of next season.

NBC’s portion of the schedule includes 14 points-paying NASCAR Cup Series events, including all of the post-season races, including the championship finale at Phoenix Raceway.
