Noah Gragson will compete in the NASCAR Cup Series event at Talladega in the No. 62 Beard Motorsports entry with sponsorship from Wendy’s.

Noah Gragson will make his fourth NASCAR Cup Series start of the 2022 season Sunday at Talladega Superspeedway, and he’ll do so with a new sponsorship partner — Wendy’s.

Gragson revealed in a Twitter video on Monday that he has partnered with Wendy’s, who will sponsor his No. 62 Beard Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro in the event.

Here is Gragson’s announcement video:

In the video, Gragson is seen at Wendy’s food and baking center throwing on an apron and checking out the place. Gragson got to work building a new flavor of Frosty. In the end, he settled on a blue raspberry Frosty with candy on top.

In a press release on Monday, Beard Motorsports revealed the No. 62 Wendy’s $5 Biggie Bag paint scheme.

For Gragson, the excitement of Talladega and Wendy’s Biggie Bag is palpable.

“It was awesome to make my Cup Series debut with Beard and ever since Daytona I’ve been looking forward to rejoining them at Talladega,” Gragson said in the release. “We’ve got Wendy’s on board with us as they launch their $5 Biggie Bag promotion and I’m genuinely stoked about it. This is the first time they’ve been on a racecar in almost 20 years and they’re doing it with me. I’m proud of that and proud to have them at Beard Motorsports. Wendy’s has really embraced NASCAR as they’ve gone all in at Talladega.”

The popular fast food chain is excited to see their brand at one of the biggest parties in the world — Talladega.

“A NASCAR race has an absolutely indescribable energy, and there’s no better place to promote our $5 Biggie Bag than at Talladega – the biggest oval track in NASCAR,” said Carl Loredo, Chief Marketing Officer for The Wendy’s Company. “Noah is an impressive person. He’s a brash racecar driver who doesn’t give an inch on the racetrack, but off the track, he has a genuine personality that deeply resonates with fans. Our partnership with him and Beard Motorsports is a great way to share our brand and get high-quality, great-tasting food in the hands of the most passionate fans in motorsports.”

Gragson, 23, is currently in the midst of his fourth full-time season in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, where he drives the No. 9 machine for JR Motorsports. Gragson has a win and sits third in the NXS championship standings after eight races this year.

The driver from Las Vegas, Nevada has amassed six victories in NASCAR Xfinity Series competition in 110 career starts and he is a two-time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series winner in 47-career starts.

Things haven’t gone as well in his NASCAR Cup Series starts, so far, as he has a best finish of 27th, which came this past weekend at Dirt Bristol. Gragson will look to reverse his luck at the wild and unpredictable 2.660-mile Superspeedway.
