NASCAR announced on Tuesday that there were no penalties in the wake of Sunday’s Bank of America 400 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval. This means no lug nuts were found loose and all cars were within inspection parameters. However, it also means that Bubba Wallace will not be penalized for his post-race antics towards Alex Bowman.

After Wallace was slammed into twice during the event by Bowman, Wallace sought out Bowman on pit road following the race.

When Wallace arrived at Bowman’s second-place finishing No. 88 car, Bowman was slumped on the ground receiving medical treatment for heat exhaustion.

As this was going on, Wallace exchanged words with Bowman, and then splashed his drink in Bowman’s face before storming off.

NASCAR’s Steve O’Donnell said on Sirius XM Radio’s Morning Drive on Monday, that he would be having words with Wallace about the incident. However, it seems that Wallace has escaped penalties.
