The NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series are back this weekend, as each series will contest its seventh race of the 2026 campaign. The venue of this weekend’s racing action is the 0.526-mile Martinsville Speedway, the shortest track on the NASCAR circuit.

The two NASCAR National Series divisions will also be joined at Martinsville this weekend by the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour.

Justin Allgaier won last weekend’s O’Reilly Series event at Darlington Raceway and will look to add a second consecutive win to bring his season total to three victories this weekend at Martinsville. Allgaier will also compete in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Cook Out 400, as he’ll continue to fill in for Alex Bowman, who is recovering from a vertigo diagnosis following the race weekend at Circuit of the Americas.

Tyler Reddick comes into Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series event on a hot streak as he has won four of the opening six races of the season, including last weekend’s Goodyear 400 at Darlington Raceway. Reddick, who matched Dale Earnhardt (1987) and Bill Elliott (1992) as the only drivers who have won four of the first six races of a NASCAR Cup Series season, will look to extend that total to five wins this weekend.

Denny Hamlin, a Martinsville master, is the defending winner of the Cook Out 400 at Martinsville and will be on the prowl for his second win of the season.
