It’s here! Finally, the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season is here. The year will be kicked off this weekend with the Busch Light Clash exhibition event at the LA Memorial Coliseum.

All 36 chartered teams have made the trek to the West Coast, but the forecast of an unprecedented severe weather storm has forced NASCAR to update the schedule for the Busch Light Clash.

The exhibition event will now move to Saturday, February 3 at 8:00 PM ET. NASCAR has also scrapped the Heat Races and Last Chance Qualifer race. The top 22 spots in the 23-car field will now be set by practice speeds and the 23rd place driver will get a 2023 driver’s point provisional.
