Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Crayon 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway has been postponed due to severe weather at the track, which has included a lot of rain, tornado watches, and more. As a result, the race has now been moved to Monday, July 17th at 12:00 PM (Noon) ET.

USA Network will still carry the television broadcast of the event. The Performance Racing Network (PRN) and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio will remain the radio options for fans who are unable to watch the race on Monday.

When the race does go green on Monday, Joe Gibbs Racing teammates Christopher Bell and Martin Truex Jr. will lead the field to the green flag as they secured the top two starting spots in Saturday’s qualifying session.

Bell is the defending winner of this event and has just one finish outside the top two in eight-career NASCAR National Series events at the 1.058-mile track, which is dubbed The Magic Mile.

Sunday’s postponement marks the third-consecutive NASCAR Cup Series event that has been impacted by weather as the Quaker State 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway a week ago ended 75 laps short of the scheduled distance due to the weather.

The Chicago Street Race, the week prior to Atlanta, was delayed heavily by weather and ultimately shortened due to darkness.

The Crayon 301 in Loudon, New Hampshire marks the fifth NASCAR Cup Series points-paying race that has been affected by the weather this season.

It had been a fun weekend of racing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway between the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour events, but Mother Nature would not allow the NASCAR Cup Series race to go off without a hitch.
