Michael McDowell’s hospital stay was short-lived. The 34-year old driver of Front Row Motorsports No. 34 Ford Mustang has been released from the hospital and has been cleared to return to action.

Front Row Motorsports tweeted the news on Friday:

McDowell, has revealed that his health issue turned out to be kidney stones. The driver was sent to the hospital, and luckily the stones passed in quick order. McDowell will look to lay down a quick lap in this afternoon’s qualifying session.
