Martin Truex Jr. came to life when it mattered most in Stage 2, as he worked around Stage 1 winner Denny Hamlin for the lead with 13 laps to go in the Stage.

Truex, Hamlin and Kyle Larson would have to contend with the lapped car of Joey Logano over the final 15 laps of the Stage, but when the checkered flag was displayed at the end of lap 240, it was Truex who collected the Stage win.

Larson would come home second, while Hamlin who looked to have a Stage win sewed up, faded to third.

Kevin Harvick and Jimmie Johnson rounded out the top-five in Stage 2.

Alex Bowman continues to try to bolster his Playoff aspirations with a sixth-place finish in Stage 2.

Erik Jones was one of just two non-Playoff contenders inside the top-10 of Stage 2 as he finished seventh.

Ryan Blaney, Brad Keselowski and Clint Bowyer all finished eighth through 10th.

William Byron was penalized for speeding on pit road, and it appeared that the pass through penalty would end his hopes of a good run, however, Byron only lost one lap and fell to 17th. By the end of the Stage, Byron ended up as the second car a lap down in 14th.

Byron will be in position for the free pass if there is a quick yellow in the final Stage.
