For years, I’ve always been asked; how do I start a career in the racing industry? And for years, I’ve always said to work your tail off in hopes of being noticed. While getting noticed in the world of racing is hard, as each individual is a very small fish within a very massive, and busy body of water.

On Thursday, Racing America, in association with RTA Media Holdings, LLC publicly launched a tangible place for workers looking to break into the racing industry — RacerJobs.com presented by Prestige Staffing.

The purpose of the new website is simple. It’s all about making jobs available within the racing industry searchable for folks looking to start, or further, their career in racing. And in turn, the goal is to grow the sport by streamlining this process.

“One of the biggest challenges we regularly hear from our member teams is the difficulty in finding a steady stream of candidates to work in their organizations. We believe with the creation of the Racer Jobs platform; we will not only be able to aggregate the best and brightest candidates in order to help teams fill this need but also provide the general racing industry a valuable service, thus contributing to RTA’s mission to help the sport grow,” explained Jonathan Marshall, Managing Director of Race Team Alliance.

The website already features a comprehensive list of job openings within the United States racing industry including NASCAR, IndyCar, sportscar, local short track racing, and more. As of launch day, Thursday, July 27th, the site has roughly 200 job listings.

No matter the size of the racing team, race track, or business related to the racing industry, RacerJobs.com will serve as the hub for recruiting passionate and talented individuals looking to start their high-speed careers.

“The launch of Racer Jobs grew out of a fundamental belief that the racing industry can benefit from a centralized, stakeholder-controlled platform that communicates and promotes the incredible opportunities that exist within the sport,” said Colin Smith, President of Racing America in a press release. “Even though this project is supported by NASCAR teams, this is also a vehicle to bring both new and experienced candidates into many different sectors and operations across all racing, from the professional level down to grassroots opportunities.”

We’re confident and excited to play a role in their long-term success.”
