Kyle Larson took his second-consecutive NOS Energy Drink USAC National Midget Series win Saturday night at Bakersfield. The win is Larson’s 18th overall in the Series.

Larson started sixth in the event, but he wouldn’t stay there long.

The 27 year old made two passes for the lead by lap 10, however both were struck from the record as a caution would revert the field to the previous green flag running order both times.

Larson, though, wouldn’t be denied.

On lap 11, Larson got around race leader Michael Pickens and never looked back.
