Kyle Larson took yet another win Friday night on the dirt, his fourth feature win in the last week in two separate race series, this time in World of Outlaws competition in a 25-lap main event at Knoxvill Raceway.

Larson, 27, had to hold of one of the best in WoO history — Donny Schatz — in order to reel in his 10th-career victory in his World of Outlaws career.

After starting sixth, Larson quickly moved to the runner-up spot behind Schatz by lap six. With 15 laps remaining in the feature, Larson scooted around Schatz and he wouldn’t look back.

Larson would take the victory in his No. 57 machine by more than three-seconds.

After collecting the win, Larson’s son Owen hopped up above the wing of the car and waved the checkered flag in celebration.

Larson, who was running for the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series championship when 2020 began, lost his job at Chip Ganassi Racing and was suspended for NASCAR for a slip of the tongue during an iRacing event in April, while the NASCAR season was on hold due to the Coronavirus.

The California native has expressed interest in returning to the Cup Series someday. While he awaits an opportunity for that to happen, Larson seems content to continue collecting trophy upon trophy and check upon check on the dirt scene.
