Justin Haley continued the trend of pole sitters leading every lap during the heat races for the 2022 Busch Light Clash at the LA Memorial Coliseum. Haley cruised to the Heat win after leading all 25 laps of Heat 3.

Behind Haley was a spirited battle for the second-place spot, which eventually went to William Byron. Byron bested Christopher Bell and Chase Elliott, who finished close behind the No. 24 car in third and fourth.

Haley, Byron, Bell and Elliott have all advanced to the 23-car Busch Light Clash Main Event.

AJ Allmendinger, Kevin Harvick, Chris Buescher, Cody Ware and Corey LaJoie will all have to attempt to battle their way into the big show through the Last Chance Qualifiers.

Harvick, who finished sixth, got very chippy with Chris Buescher in Heat 3 as the two made contact several times. Buescher ended up getting some cosmetic damage to the left front corner of his No. 17 car but soldiered on.
