Joey Gase, a co-owner of NASCAR Xfinity Series team Joey Gase Motorsports w/ Scott Osteen, will return to his home racetrack of Iowa Speedway this weekend running double-duty, and doing so with a high-profile sponsorship.

The Cedar Rapids, Iowa-native will compete in Saturday’s Hy-Vee Perks 250 in the No. 53 Chevrolet for Joey Gase Motorsports w/ Scott Osteen, before getting back in a racecar on Sunday in the No. 66 Ford Mustang Dark Horse for Garage 66 (MBM Motorsports).

Riding along with Gase for this weekend’s events at the 0.875-mile racetrack will be Hulu’s critically acclaimed comedy series King of the Hill, as the series is less than a week away from its Season 14 release date.

“I am excited to have King of the Hill not only on my Xfinity car, but also my Cup car, at my home track, Iowa Speedway,” said Joey Gase. “It’s a show that I have been watching since I was a teen, and it’s going to be really cool to help them set off their brand-new season on Hulu.”

King of the Hill initially ran for 13 seasons between 1997 and 2009, and has recently been revived, and will star Mike Judge, Kathy Najimy, Pamela Adlon, Johnny Hardwick, Stephen Root, Lauren Tom, and Toby Huss. All 13 seasons of the Emmy Award-winning series are now available to be streamed on Hulu, with Season 14 set to premiere exclusively on the streaming platform on Monday, August 4.

Season 14 will feature Hank and Peggy Hill returning home to a changed Arlen, Texas. After years working a propane job in Saudi Arabia to earn their retirement nest egg, Hank and Peggy reconnect with old friends Dale, Boomhauer, and Hill. Meanwhile, Bobby is living his dream as a chef in Dallas and enjoying his 20s with his former classmates Connie, Joseph, and Chane.

The 32-year-old driver is elated to represent the popular show this weekend and is equally as excited to return to his home racetrack, where last season, he scored a 16th-place finish for Joey Gase Motorsports – his best-ever finish in the series at the Newton, Iowa-based track.

Sunday’s 350-lap contest at Iowa Speedway will mark the first NASCAR Cup Series start of the year for Gase, while Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series event will mark the 10th of 2025.

In his previous starts this season, Gase has recorded a pair of top-20 results at Daytona (15th) and Atlanta (18th), as well as an additional three top-25 results at Atlanta, Talladega, and Texas

Gase will be competing in the Hy-Vee Perks 250 at Iowa on Saturday, August 2, at 4:30 pm ET on The CW, MRN, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. The Iowa Corn 350 will take place the following afternoon at 3:30 pm ET on USA Network, MRN, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
