Inspection Report: Chase Elliott Officially Scores Victory at Nashville, Second Win of Season

Post-race technical inspection following Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway has been completed.

Chase Elliott’s race-winning No. 9 NAPA Auto Parts Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro has passed. As a result, NASCAR has declared Elliott and his team the official winners of the race.

This win marks the second of the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season for Elliott, and it’s the 15th win of his NCS career. Elliott, who came into the race as the regular season point leader, retains that lead with the win.

No issues were detected in post-race inspection, which means that all results and standings following Sunday’s race are now considered official.
