William Byron scored the win in the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Daytona 500 on Monday night, and following post-race inspection, the victory has been made official.

Byron’s race-winning No. 24 AXALTA Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 endured post-race technical inspection as well as the engine teardown. No issues were detected in post-race inspection throughout the field, which means all results and standings are officially, official.

The No. 7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 and the No. 23 23XI Racing Toyota Camry will make a trip back to the NASCAR R&D Center for further evaluation.

Alex Bowman, Byron’s Hendrick Motorsports teammate was the official runner-up finisher. Christopher Bell, Corey LaJoie, and Bubba Wallace rounded out the top-five finishers and AJ Allmendinger, John Hunter Nemechek, Erik Jones, Noah Gragson, and Chase Briscoe finished in positions six through 10.
