Post-race technical inspection following Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Firekeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway has been completed.

Ryan Blaney’s race-winning No. 12 Team Penske Ford Mustang has passed. As a result, NASCAR has declared Blaney and his team the official winners of the race. This marks Blaney’s second victory of 2021 and his sixth win of his NCS career.

2021 is the first season that Blaney has won multiple NASCAR Cup Series races.

Bubba Wallace’s No. 23 car and Cody Ware’s No. 51 car each had one unsecured lug nut, which will result in a monetary fine for their crew chiefs.

Ross Chastain’s No. 42 car lost an axle during the race, which will result in a one race suspension for his car chief.

No other issues were discovered in post-race inspection, which means all results and standings following Sunday’s race are now considered official.
