Post-race technical inspection following Saturday night’s NASCAR Cup Series Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway has been completed.

Kyle Larson’s race-winning No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro has passed. As a result, NASCAR has declared Larson and his team the official winners of the race. This marks Larson’s sixth points-paying win of the 2021 NCS season and his seventh win overall (when you count the NASCAR All-Star Race).

Larson, who had six-career NASCAR Cup Series wins entering the 2021 season, has now doubled his career total to 12 wins.

Aric Almirola’s No. 10 car and Martin Truex Jr.’s No. 19 car had one unsecured lug nut each, which will result in a monetary fine for each of their crew chiefs.

No other issues were discovered in post-race inspection which means all results and standings following Saturday night’s race are now considered official.
