Inspection Complete: Denny Hamlin Officially Wins 2020 Daytona 500

Post-race technical inspection following Monday’s NASCAR Cup Series Daytona 500 has been completed. Denny Hamlin’s race-winning No. 11 Toyota Camry has passed.

As a result, Hamlin has been declared the official winner of the race by NASCAR.

No issues were discovered in post-race inspection. As a results, all results and standings are considered official.

The No. 6 car (Ryan Newman) and the No. 32 car (Corey LaJoie) will be taken back to NASCAR R&D for further testing after today’s vicious last-lap crash.
