Christopher Bell got around William Byron for the race lead with 16 laps remaining in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series 4EVER 400 presented by Mobil 1, and he never looked back as he won by a victory margin of 1.651 sec. over Ryan Blaney.
Following the race, Bell and his No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing team were officially named the winners of the race by NASCAR following post-race inspection.
The No. 20 Rheem Toyota Camry passed with no issues.
This victory marks the second win of the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season for the 28-year-old Bell, and it is the sixth victory of his young career. With the win, Bell will advance to the Championship 4 for the second-consecutive season.
No issues were detected in post-race inspection, which means all results and standings following Sunday’s race are now considered official.
NASCAR will take the No. 8 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, and the No. 23 23XI Racing Toyota Camry back to the NASCAR R&D center for further inspection.
Ryan Blaney was the official runner-up finisher in the race, and he was followed to the line by Tyler Reddick, William Byron, and AJ Allmendinger.
