Chris Buescher made a bold last-lap move on a stumbling Shane Van Gisbergen to capture the win in Sunday’s Go Bowling at The Glen at Watkins Glen International. It’s uncharacteristic of the three-time Supercars champion on the road courses, but it allowed the No. 17 to score the victory.

Following the win, where he started from a track-record-low 24th-place and led 19 of 92 laps, Buescher’s race-winning No. 17 BuildSubmarines.com Ford Mustang Dark Horse successfully passed through NASCAR’s post-race inspection process.

As a result, Buescher is declared the race-winner, and RFK Racing officially has its second win of 2024. Buescher is the first non-playoff driver to win during the post-season this year, and the fourth consecutive race winner for Ford Performance in the NASCAR Cup Series.

No issues were detected in post-race inspection, meaning all results and points will stand and be official.

Shane Van Gisbergen finished second for Kaulig Racing and the No. 16 team, with Carson Hocevar collecting a career-best third-place finish. Ross Chastain, who led a race-high 51 of 92 laps, finished fourth with another Spire Motorsports driver Zane Smith rounding out the top five.

Chase Briscoe, Michael McDowell, Corey LaJoie, Ryan Preece, and Austin Cindric rounded out the top-10.
