Weather is rolling into the Nashville area, as a result, NASCAR has taken the opportunity to bump the green flag time of Sunday night’s NASCAR Cup Series Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway up slightly in an effort to get the full duration of the race in on Sunday.

The green flag will now be scheduled to wave at 7:05 PM ET. Originally, the green flag was set to fly at 7:22 PM ET.

There will be no change with the broadcast information for the event, as NBC will still carry the television broadcast of the Ally 400 beginning at 7:00 PM ET, and radio coverage will be provided by PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

The Nashville Superspeedway is a 1.333-mile concrete oval in Lebanon, Tennessee. Sunday night’s race is 300 laps, which equates to 399.9 miles of racing action.

The race will be broken into three Stages. Stage 1 will end after Lap 90, Stage 2 will conclude after 185 laps, and the race is scheduled to see the checkered flag wave at the end of lap 300. However, overtime is always an option if there is a late-race caution with two-or-more laps to go.

Pit road speed for Sunday’s race will be set at 45 mph, and the pace vehicle will run around the track at 50 mph. The estimated fuel window for cars in the race is 70 laps, per NASCAR.

If you’re attending the Ally 400 at Nashville, driver introductions will take place at 5:20 PM local time (6:20 PM ET) on the stage on the turn 1 side of pit road.

The invocation for the race is set for 5:47 PM CT (6:47 PM ET), the National Anthem is scheduled for 5:48 PM CT (6:48 PM ET) and the command to fire the engines will be given at 5:55 PM CT (6:55 PM ET).

Ross Chastain, the driver of the No. 1 Trackhouse Racing Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 will start the race from the pole. Chastain scored his first-career pole in Saturday’s qualifying session, and it also marks the first-ever pole for the Trackhouse Racing team.

Tyler Reddick will start alongside Chastain from the second position in Sunday night’s race in the No. 45 23XI Racing Toyota Camry.

Daniel Suarez, who is credited with the 10th starting position in the field, will have to drop to the rear before the green flag as Suarez crashed his No. 99 Trackhouse Racing Chevrolet before taking the green flag for his qualifying run in Round 2 of NASCAR Cup qualifying on Saturday.

The damage sustained to Suarez’s car was severe enough to warrant the team to go to a backup car.

Reddick, who rolls from the grid in the second starting spot, was the fastest driver in Friday’s 50-minute practice session. Reddick slotted in ahead of Martin Truex Jr., Ross Chastain, Erik Jones and William Byron.

Reddick also led the way in fastest 10-lap consecutive averages during the session.
