UPDATE! Go Fas Racing was able to get the No. 32 car fired up. Here is video of the car finally turning over.

High drama on Monday at Daytona International Speedway. With just about one hour until we continue the 2020 Daytona 500, which was delayed on Sunday due to rain after 20 laps were completed, Corey LaJoie may not return to the track.

Dustin Long of NBC Sports is reporting that the Go Fas Racing team is feverishly trying to get the No. 32 machine to start up, but are not having luck in doing so.

With the weather yesterday, there is always a threat that something could get wet in the electrical components of the race cars. If that is indeed what has happened to the No. 32 team, this could be a really devastating way to end their bid at the 2020 Daytona 500.

We will keep you posted on developments with Corey LaJoie’s car as we get closer to the restart of the Daytona 500.
