There are 38 cars on the preliminary entry list for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway. This race will serve as the final event in the 36-race campaign for the NASCAR Cup Series in 2024.
With up to 40 cars permitted to start events at NASCAR’s top level, no drivers or teams will be heading home following this weekend’s qualifying session.
Ryan Blaney, winner of the XFINITY 500 at Martinsville Speedway who secured his position into the Championship 4, will return this weekend at Phoenix, driving the No. 12 Ford Mustang Dark Horse for Team Penske.
Kaz Grala will make his 24th NASCAR Cup Series start of the season in Sunday’s event at Phoenix Raceway, once again returning to the driver’s seat of the No. 15 Ford Mustang Dark Horse for Rick Ware Racing. Derek Kraus will return to the driver’s seat of the No. 16 Chevrolet Camaro for Kaulig Racing this weekend at Phoenix Raceway.
A pair of Open Entries will grace the NASCAR Cup Series field this weekend at Phoenix Raceway, with Chad Finchum driving the No. 66 Ford Mustang Dark Horse for MBM Motorsports and Jimmie Johnson in the No. 84 Toyota Camry XSE for LEGACY MOTOR CLUB.
