It is time for the 2022 Daytona 500, and if you are heading into the biggest race of the NASCAR season wanting to play some DFS, Chase Holden has you covered with his top DraftKings and FanDuel picks for the race. Photo Credit: Jared C. Tilton / Getty Images.

Can you smell it!? The 2022 NASCAR Cup Series Season is finally back with the 63rd running of the Daytona 500. Garage Guys Energy is in full swing here in Daytona, and the shenanigans are at an all-time high. As we approach Sunday, we have to prepare for bags, so its ok to put your Tona Time on hold to do some research and see which drivers will help you do the most on DraftKings and Fanduel (and that’s literally what I’m doing here in this article so you don’t have to).

In case you were wondering, things are a little different this year, for starters, Dale Tanhardt is covering all the NASCAR Betting pieces here on “TC” and I’m back to my DFS roots but for all three NASCAR Series this season.

The good news is that you can still check out all my bets on Action Network this year right on your mobile device. If you already follow me and Dale there, you would have hit a GIANT lick on Thursday Night for the Daytona Duels.

But enough about me, I’m here for YOU! Before we get into my Top DFS Driver Picks for the Daytona 500, be sure to watch the Garage Guys Race Preview Show. We dumped and a handful of bets and DFS plays for you in this one.

NASCAR Driver Picks For DraftKings & FanDuel

Ryan Blaney #12 (DraftKings – $10K | FanDuel – $12.5K)

Young Ryan Blaney is one of my top picks to win the Daytona 500 this year starting in P7. We’ve seen this cat go toe to with the superspeedway giants at both this track and Talladega, and he has won at both of them. If there’s anyone that I’m confident starting inside the Top 10 to potentially get up front and lead laps early it’s Ryan.

William Byron #24 (DraftKings – $9.4K | FanDuel – $11.5K)

William Byron (or Will Byron as Ceasars Sportsbook calls him) is starting P23 on Sunday, and is one of the many guys with speed who have “Place Differential Potential”. Hendrick should have ZERO issues finishing towards the top end of this race as long as they avoid wrecks, and that ain’t no thing for Willy B. Byron has won at this track and should be in a lot of lineups on Sunday.

Aric Almirola #10 (DraftKings – $8K | FanDuel – $8.5K)

Happy retirement to the Bacon Boi Aric Almirola. What a time he’s given us in racing, and it looks like he’s going to be giving us his time in our lineups due to him starting P38 In the Great American Race. It’s honestly mind-blowing that this is happening after seeing the kind of speed he has amongst the Fords (but to be real all the Fords are fast) and I’ve gotta make him a ride or die this weekend.

Kaz Grala #50 (DraftKings – $4.9K | FanDuel – $3.5K)

Last but not least, Kaz Grala! Grala is driving for The Money Team funded by Floyd “Cant Read Harry Potter but can beat you senseless” Mayweather and I think redemption is coming for the guy who has been sneaky good at these types of tracks. Grala starts P35 on Sunday and will be a great “Low Boi” that can get his way through the carnage if it pops off. He’s going to be the guy you want in Superspeedway strategy lines and maybe cut ownership in half for the “Mixure Lines” (if you don’t know what a Mixure is, you need to watch more Garage Guys).
