Corey LaJoie has blossomed into one of the most unique personalities in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series garage. Whether it be his amazing charity work with Samaritan’s Feet, or throwing the football with fans during rain delays, LaJoie has made a lot of fun headlines in 2019. Saturday night, he was at it again.

This time he defaced a portion of the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval.

LaJoie began to tease what was to come Saturday morning, when he Tweeted that he couldn’t sleep on Friday night knowing that there wasn’t a single ninja turtle painted on a turtle bump at the Roval.

It is a solid point. The oversized blue bumps, which send cars into orbit when they hit them could use a bit of a friendly cartoon touch.

A few hours after his initial Tweet, LaJoie revealed that he had the supplies to put the plan into action.

Finally, on Saturday night, several hours after the NASCAR Xfinity Series race was over, LaJoie was back to show us that he had actually done the deed of converting one of the Roval’s turtles into a Ninja Turtle.

LaJoie would Tweet that he did not receive permission before painting the turtle, and that he hopes on forgiveness when the sanctioning body and race track find out.
