Chris Lawson is set to reunite with Front Row Motorsports for the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series campaign, the organization announced on Thursday.

The Medway, Ohio-native will be serving as the shot-caller for the team’s No. 34 Ford Mustang Dark Horse in 2025, reuniting Lawson with driver Todd Gilliland.

Lawson previously spent two seasons working with Todd Gilliland in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, earning one victory, 13 top-fives, and 24 top-10s with the Front Row Motorsports driver.

After Gilliland graduated to the NASCAR Cup Series, Lawson continued in the Truck Series, working with Zane Smith, en route to the 2022 NASCAR Truck Series championship.

In two more seasons with FRM’s Truck Series program, Lawson collected another five wins, 22 top-fives, and 27 top-10s.

The 39-year-old crew chief was then promoted to the NASCAR Cup Series in 2024, joining forces with Rick Ware Racing to call the shots on the No. 51 Ford Mustang Dark Horse.

In a rewarding season for driver, crew chief, and team, Justin Haley scored a pair of ninth-place finishes in the Rick Ware Racing entry at Darlington Raceway and WWT Raceway.

Lawson and Gilliland will get reacquainted over the off-season, before tackling the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series campaign, beginning with The Clash at Bowman-Gray Stadium on February 2.
