Celsius Energy will make their first-ever start as a primary sponsor in the NASCAR Cup Series in Sunday’s Buschy McBusch Race 400 at Kansas Speedway, on-board BJ McLeod’s No. 78 Live Fast Motorsports Ford Mustang.

In February, Celsius Energy was named the official energy drink of Live Fast Motorsports – owned by BJ McLeod and Matt Tifft — a partnership that will reach new heights when the No. 78 Ford Mustang takes the green flag on Sunday Afternoon.

“I’m so excited to bring Celsius on board with Live Fast Motorsports for their first primary sponsorship in the NASCAR Cup Series,” said team owner Matt Tifft.

“Celsius has been the official energy drink partner of Live Fast Motorsports since day one and bringing them on as a primary sponsor for Kansas this weekend is such a testament to our strong partnership. Celsius is a great fit for my and BJ’s lifestyle by encouraging people to #LiveFit and enjoy an active lifestyle, or if it is powering you through the day. Celsius not only powers our days, but everyone in the shop who builds our #78 Mustang. We can’t wait to get on track this Sunday!”

At Talladega Superspeedway, BJ McLeod recorded the organization’s second top-25 finish of the season, bringing the Long-Lewis Automotive Group Ford Mustang home in 25th-place. Through the team’s 10-race existence, the No. 78 has recorded six top-30 finishes, including an organization best 23rd at Daytona.

“We couldn’t be more excited to sponsor BJ McLeod and partner with Live Fast Motorsports,” said John Fieldly Celsius CEO. “Celsius is a Fitness Drink that provides Essential Energy for peak performance and is a perfect partner for Live Fast Motorsports Team.

The Buschy McBusch Race 400 at Kansas Speedway – the 11th race of 2021 for the NASCAR Cup Series — will take place on Sunday, May 2nd at 3:00PM / EST on FOX Sports 1, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Ch. 90).
