FORT WORTH, Texas — The pit boxes of Austin Dillon’s, Ricky Stenhouse Jr.’s and Jimmie Johnson’s teams will be a crew member lighter for Sunday’s AAA Texas 500 at Texas Motor Speedway after all three cars failed pre-qualifying inspection twice on Saturday.

Each team will also receive a 15-minute deduction in practice time next weekend at ISM Raceway in Phoenix.

All eight of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Playoff contenders passed inspection and will start where they qualify.
