As Todd Gilliland embarks upon his rookie season in the NASCAR Cup Series he’ll have a familiar partner on his No. 38 Front Row Motorsports Ford Mustang for two races this season, as Black’s Tire and Auto Service will be a primary partner for Gilliland this season.

According to a press release from Front Row Motorsports, Black’s Tire and Auto Service will be the primary sponsor of the No. 38 car at Richmond in April and at Darlington Raceway in May.

“It’s been really cool to represent Black’s Tire and their employees and customers the past few seasons,” said Gilliland in the release. “I’m proud to bring them back into the NASCAR Cup Series this year and I want to represent them as best as possible. The customers of Black’s Tire and Auto Service are enthusiastic race fans who have a proud history in the sport. It’s an honor to carry that on and I hope to do them proud this year.”

For Black’s Tire and Auto Service, the Gilliland family has become essentially an extended piece of the Black’s family as they have worked with two generations of the racing Gillilands.

“We enjoy our partnership with Todd, the Gilliland family and Front Row Motorsports,” said Ricky Benton, Owner, Black’s Tire and Auto Service. “Todd’s move to the NASCAR Cup Series combined with the new car in the NASCAR Cup Series, has our customers and employees really excited for this season. We’re cheering for Todd and wishing him the best as he steps up in his racing career.”

In addition to the two-race primary sponsorship, Black’s Tire will also be an associate sponsor for the No. 38 Front Row Motorsports team for the complete 2022 season.

Gilliland, 21, will make his NASCAR Cup Series points race debut in the 2022 Daytona 500. Gilliland has scored two wins in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competition, and last year finished seventh in the NCWTS point standings, driving for Front Row Motorsports.
