Beard Motorsports, which fielded the No. 62 car that made the 2019 Daytona 500 field, has announced via Twitter that they will return to the track for this weekend’s GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway.

Returning to drive the No. 62 car again this time around is Brendan Gaughan.

This will mark Gaughan’s 10th start in the Beard Motorsports car as the organization has run every Daytona and Talladega race since 2017.

Gaughan’s best finish with the team was a seventh-place effort in the 2017 Coke Zero 400 at Daytona.
