Chad Finchum, a native of Knoxville, Tennessee, will return to the NASCAR Cup Series for the third time this season in Saturday’s Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway, driving for Garage 66.

Finchum will get behind the wheel of the No. 66 Ford Mustang Dark Horse for the organization owned by NASCAR journeyman Carl Long. Barger Precast, a fifth-generation, family-owned precast concrete manufacturer based in East Tennessee, will serve as the primary sponsor for the entry.

As part of this collaboration, the Barger Precast logo will be prominently displayed on Finchum’s Ford Mustang for 500 laps of action around ‘The World’s Fastest Half Mile’ in Bristol, Tennessee. Saturday’s event will mark Finchum’s 12th start in the NASCAR Cup Series, and his second at Bristol Motor Speedway.

“We are incredibly proud to partner with Garage 66 and to represent East Tennessee on the NASCAR stage,” said Eric Barger, President of Barger Precast. “For over sixty years, our family has built this company on a foundation of strength, durability, and a relentless pursuit of quality. These are the same principles that define success in racing, and we see a natural connection between the solid foundations we build and the high-speed performance of the Garage 66 racing team. We are proud to stand behind driver Chad Finchum, who is also involved in a local family-owned business.”

Barger Precast isn’t new to the NASCAR sponsorship scene, having sponsored Kaulig Racing and AJ Allmendinger in the previous two iterations of the Bass Pro Shops Night Race, while also sponsoring Kaulig Racing and Joe Gibbs Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2024.

Joining the company on-board the No. 66 for Saturday’s event at Bristol is Cooper & Hunter, the HVAC market leader that continues its third season of activation in NASCAR. Elite Petroleum, a long-time sponsor of Finchum, will also have involvement in the effort.

“I am looking forward to having Chad [Finchum] behind the wheel at Bristol. Josh Biicki ran the last two races for our team here and has the setup dialed in pretty well. Hopefully, we can use what we have learned and give Chad a good-driving car,” said Carl Long, co-owner of Garage 66. “Bristol means a lot to us, as nearby Knoxville is the home base for our primary owners, Rocky and Tom Smith, plus Chad’s hometown. We are ready to go make some noise.”

The Bass Pro Shops Night Race will take place on Saturday, September 13 at 7:30 PM ET on USA Network, Performance Racing Network, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
