It didn’t take long for the first sign of trouble at the Charlotte Next Gen test on Wednesday, as RCR’s Austin Dillon found trouble early on in the morning session.

Dillon’s car was caught in the turn 2 grass after sources say Dillon got loose and tried to overcorrect the car before hitting the wall.

Just moments before the incident, Dillon was captured on track leading a line of cars through the tri-oval at Charlotte.

The test was halted just moments after the video above was shot.
