Denny Hamlin will have a new multi-race primary sponsorship partner for two races during the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season. On Wednesday morning, Joe Gibbs Racing announced the addition of ampm, a West Coast convenience store chain, to the list of the supporters of the No. 11 NASCAR Cup Series driver and team.

According to a press release from the team, the ampm colors will adorn Hamlin’s No. 11 entry at Sonoma Raceway on July 13, and the NASCAR Cup Series Playoff event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on October 12.

The brand, which has more than 1,000 locations, has never dipped its toes into the motorsports sponsorship arena prior to this partnership with Joe Gibbs Racing. The prospect of welcoming a first-time sponsor into the sport is exciting to Hamlin, 44.

“We’re looking forward to introducing ampm to the motorsports world,” said Hamlin. “It’s exciting to have a first-time partner come on and be able to showcase their business to our fanbase. It’s a great looking paint scheme and I can’t wait to get it on the track at Sonoma and Las Vegas later this year.”

In addition to the sponsorship of Hamlin in 2025, ampm will serve as a primary sponsor for Ty Gibbs and the No. 54 Joe Gibbs Racing team in a select event during the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season.

Hamlin, in the midst of his 20th full-time campaign in the NASCAR Cup Series, is still seeking his elusive first NASCAR Cup Series championship. Even without a title, though, Hamlin has cemented himself as a future NASCAR Hall of Famer as he has notched 54 career Cup Series wins, which is good enough for 12th on the all-time wins list.

Hamlin sits seventh in the championship standings after the opening four races of the season, and he heads into this weekend’s Pennzoil 400 on the heels of a runner-up finish at Phoenix Raceway, a race he narrowly lost in a photo finish to his Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Christopher Bell.
