Sunday’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Drydene 400 at Dover International Speedway had a lot of weird mechanical issues for top Playoff contenders, but in the end it was a typical Dover race. There weren’t many cars on the lead lap all day long and in the end it was a run-away win for Kyle Larson.

The overnight television ratings are in, and Sunday’s race scored a 1.1 Nielsen rating. That is down slightly from a 1.2 rating for this exact race a season ago.

Overall, NBC says that it’s share of NASCAR events in 2019 are up 2-percent overall in viewership.
