Dueling is an art form that started way back in ancient times. Just a spirited tradition of muscle, whit, and sheer force. That tradition carried itself all the way to professional stock car racing, and we’re about to see the Bluegreen Vacation Duels At Daytona take place tonight to kick off the three first regular-season races in NASCAR.

It feels good to be back on the DraftKings DFS grind after a long drive to Daytona, and I’ve still got plenty of words to type over the weekend for all you heathens. The duels will be fast and furious, but luckily you have a guide to get you through them.

Hopefully, this guide will fatten your pockets as well.

Both Duels will be listed on DraftKings as two separate contests. That means you’ll have two chances to bring home the bag tonight to kick off the week leading up to the Daytona 500.

Don’t forget to check out my cup picks on Action Network so you can get an early jump on the action for Sunday’s race.

Aside from that. My partner in crime Dale Tanhardt has been writing up some great betting content here on TobyChristie.com

Don’t miss it!

NASCAR DFS Driver Picks: BlueGreen Vacation Duels At Daytona (Duel 1)

Kaz Grala #50 ($5600)

Kaz Grala is one of the open drivers that didn’t make it in on time this year with Floyd Mayweather’s “The Money Team”. In years past we have seen him do well at Superspeedways, and with him starting in P19, he is an easy favorite for me to be an early mover. You should get some solid bang for your buck with the draft being in play here.

Erik Jones #43 ($6300)

I’ll never NOT be JONESIN for Erik Jones at this track, and there’s no exception for the Duels. Jones created a group of “Skew Savages” on Tuesday night after his antics during Daytona Testing a few weeks ago. That has absolutely nothing to do with why I’m picking him here, I really just wanted to type that up (it’s true and it’s fun to watch cars crab walk). With Jones Starting P12 he has some solid Place Differential Potential and should find himself finishing towards the front of the pack.

Ryan Blaney #12 ($9200)

Ryan Blaney is my third and final favorite play for Duel 1 at Daytona. The Fords have been up to something with this NextGen car over the past year and Blaney has been up to something at Daytona long before the Next Gen surfaced (dudes the next Superspeedway king). He starts P7 and will be on the move quickly to catch the Hendrick cars.

NASCAR DFS Driver Picks: Bluegreen Vacation Duels At Daytona (Duel 2)

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. #47 ($9,000)

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. didn’t show the speed everyone thought he would just n Wednesday night during qualifying, but that’s ok. Stenhouse can still bring home the nacho fries (that’s a Garage Fam joke btw) for us in DFS starting in P16. Look for Ricky to use the draft and his veteran skill at superspeedways tonight to offer some positive place differential.

Michael McDowell #34 ($6,800)

Michael McDowell keeps me going (well his sponsor does) and it’s time for me to ride the wave tonight in Duel 2 in DFS. Mike Mac starts P11 and is underpriced in my opinion. We should see him easily dip into the mid-Top 10 range and he could be a difference-maker.

Denny Hamlin #11 ($10,100)

Denny Hamlin is the highest-priced driver in Duel 2 for a reason at this track, and starting in P4, I gotta have him. Hamlin could easily challenge the three guys in front of him with his prowess and lead almost every lap. The man has the skill and could probably run this track blindfolded so spend up!
