The two dominant drivers of the 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, Austin Cindric and Chase Briscoe, battled it out for the Stage 1 win in Friday night’s GoBowling 250 at Richmond Raceway. In the end of the Stage, it was Cindric who had the better car and took the top spot.

Behind Cindric and Briscoe was Ross Chastain.

Chastain looked like he had a car capable of winning Stage 1, but he scraped the wall after going four wide on a restart after the competition caution on lap 40.

Chastain’s car was still powerful enough to finish third in Stage 1.

Kyle Busch, making his final NXS start of 2020, finished fourth, while Harrison Burton capped off the top-five finishers in Stage 1.

Justin Haley, Michael Annett, Jeb Burton, Kaz Grala and Justin Allgaier rounded out the top-10 finishers in Stage 1.
