This summer, Rick Ware Racing will continue to expand upon their illustrious global reach across many different disciplines of motorsports, electing to make the trip north of the border to field a full-time entry in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series, in collaboration with three-time series champion, Andrew Ranger.

As part of the agreement, Ranger will not only get the chance to compete full-time in the organization’s No. 51 entry, but will also get the opportunity to return to the NASCAR Xfinity Series for the first-time in eight seasons, piloting the SS Green Light Racing w/ Rick Ware Racing No. 17 in next weekend’s event at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

“I am very excited to be back in the Pinty’s Series racing for a championship again with Rick Ware Racing,” said Andrew Ranger. “I sat out last year because of COVID, and can’t wait to get back to my winning ways this year. I look forward to working with Rick and his team and making this a successful year!”

Since NASCAR acquired the CASCAR Super Series in 2007, Ranger has been one of the most successful drivers in the series, collecting 28 victories, 73 top-fives and 110 top-10 finishes in 133 career starts, while also claiming championships in 2007, 2009 and 2019.

“When the opportunity arose to partner with Andrew in the Pinty’s Series, it was a total no brainer,” said team owner Rick Ware. “We want to continue to expand our racing programs to multiple disciplines across the world. Andrew is a world class driver, and we look forward to competing at the highest level for the Pinty’s Series championship.”

The first race of the 2021 NASCAR Pinty’s Series season will take place at Sunset Speedway on August 1st, 2021. Additional sponsorship announcements for the Pinty’s Series and Xfinity Series efforts will be made later next week.
