Andrés Pérez de Lara is returning to Niece Motorsports for the 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series campaign.

The 20-year-old driver, who first joined the organization for the final eight races of last season, was announced as the full-time pilot of the No. 44 Chevrolet Silverado RST on Tuesday, with the addition of a brand-new anchor partner in Acceptance Insurance.

Wally Rogers, a veteran crew chief in the NASCAR Truck Series, will continue to serve as the shot-caller of the No. 44 Chevrolet in 2026.

“I’m incredibly excited to partner with Acceptance Insurance for this next step in my career,” said Pérez de Lara. “It means a lot to represent a company that supports drivers at every level, and I’m grateful to Acceptance and Niece Motorsports for the confidence they’ve placed in me.”

The Mexico City, Mexico-native is coming off his maiden full-time campaign in the NASCAR Truck Series, where he split his time between Spire Motorsports and Niece Motorsports. In 25 starts, Perez managed three top-10s, including a career-best seventh-place at Martinsville in the Spring.

In his eight-race stint driving the No. 44 for Niece Motorsports, Perez managed to secure a single top-10 result, an eighth-place finish at Bristol Motor Speedway in September.

“We’re thrilled to have Acceptance Insurance join our program,” said Cody Efaw, CEO of Niece Motorsports. “Andres has tremendous potential, and strong partners like Acceptance only strengthen what we aim to accomplish on track this year.”

This isn’t the first foray into motorsports sponsorship for Acceptance Insurance. Last season, the company partnered with Trackhouse Racing and sponsored Ross Chastain in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series with JR Motorsports, amongst other activations.

“This collaboration with Andres and Niece Motorsports is an important opportunity for our brand,” said Cesar Soriano, CEO of Acceptance/Confie. “Andres embodies the drive, character, and resilience that reflect our customers and our values. We look forward to an exciting season ahead.”

Perez is a champion of the ARCA Menards Series and during his two seasons with the now-defunct REV Racing, managed to put together 20 top-fives and 33 top-10s, but fell just short of securing a victory in the series.

Last season was also an important milestone for Perez, as he made his debut in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series for DGM Racing, driving the No. 91 at Autodromo Hermanos Rodríguez.

The 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series campaign will begin on Friday, February 13 at 7:30 PM ET. Coverage of the event will be on FOX Sports 1, NASCAR Racing Network, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
