The ARCA Menards Series West continues its run to the finish of the 2023 season with the penultimate race this weekend at Madera Speedway and the 51FIFTY Jr. Homecoming ARCA 150. The event will also be a homecoming for a few different drivers out on the West Coast.

The West Series is set to make its big return to the .333-mile short track for the first time since 2009. The track has been on and off of the schedule throughout its history. Dating back to 1973 and Jack McCoy taking the first win in the ARCA Menards Series West at the track. Other former winners include Bill Sedgwick, Doug George, Butch Gilliland, Lance Hooper, Mike Duncan, and the most recent winner Eric Holmes back in 2009.

As we head into the final two races of the season, young rookie Sean Hingorani is looking to rebound after a tough race and 16th-place finish at the Bullring. The Newport Beach, CA native will be racing with a little pride this weekend as a former winner at Madera. The 17-year-old will look to gain points on second place Trevor Huddleston, who sits 26 points back.

While Hingorani and the No. 15 VMS look to rebound, their biggest competition for the owner’s title looks to grow their slim lead. After an up-and-down race ending with a ninth-place finish, Cook Racing Technologies No. 17 and Kaden Honeycutt came out of the Bullring with just a ten-point lead in the owner’s standings.

Both Tanner and Tyler Reif are coming off solid top-five runs and look to get lucky at Madera again, as they are both former winners at the track. Other notable former winners at Madera looking to park it in victory lane this Saturday are Joey Iest, Bradley Erickson, and Brody Armtrout, who is teaming up with Joe Nava to debut in the ARCA platform debut in the No. 77 Toyota.

Other drivers entered for the 150 laps include PJ Pedroncelli, Bradley Erickson, Monty Tipton, R.J. Smotherman, and several others.

You can catch the 51FIFTY Jr. Homecoming ARCA 150 live on FloRacing this Saturday, October 21st at 11 PM ET, 8 PM PT.
