After one of the all-time classic finishes for the ARCA Menards Series at the short track of Elko Speedway, the series rolls up to Michigan and the two-mile speedway for the Henry Ford Health 200.

The series has run at the speedway since 1980 with winners the likes of Jeff Purvis, Frank Kimmel, Tim Steele, Casey Mears, Ty Dillon, Brennan Poole, and most recently 2023 driver champion Jesse Love.

The season is moving rapidly into the latter half of 2024, and heading into the 13th race on the calendar, bringing many regulars around, with a few drivers making some reappearances.

Looking at the points, it’s Andres Perez’s world and we are all left to live in it, as he sits atop the standings in his sophomore season by 44 points.

While he looks to continue and grow his lead, he’s still searching for his first career win in the ARCA platform. He’s got some stats on his side though. Michigan is the site where 2022 driver’s champion and Rev Racing NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver Nick Sanchez picked up his third win of the year en route to his title.

Sitting 44 points back, and coming oh so close to his first win at Elko was Rev Racing teammate Lavar Scott. The Carney’s Point, NJ native has four straight top-fives and looks to continue that hot streak in the Irish Hills.

Hot shoe and ARCA Menards Series East points leader Connor Zilisch is set to make his ‘big track’ debut this weekend with Pinnacle Racing Group. The Mooresville, NC native announced last week he’s heading Xfinity racing full-time with JR Motorsports in the No. 88 machine. In the meantime, he’ll look to pad the trophy case this Friday.

Other notables set to take on the 100 laps include Frankie Muniz making his return to the ARCA Menards Series with Reaume Brothers Racing, Jayson Alexander hopping back in the No. 10 for Fast Track Racing, Toni Breidinger, Greg Van Alst, Jake Finch, Jeff MacZink, and fan favorite Andy Jankowiak among several others.

You can catch the Henry Ford Health 200 live of FS1 this Friday at 6 PM ET.
