Sioux Chief Showdown Points Leader Chandler Smith’s night has gone from bad to worse in Friay Night’s Menards.com 200 at Toledo Speedway.

Smith – who stopped on the backstraightaway with 43 laps to go — will be assesed an additional five lap penalty, for intentionally causing a caution flag.

The 18-year old would be unable to return to the race, as a suspension issue sidelined the No. 20 for the remainder of the event.

Smith would be relegated to an eleventh-place finish, only his second finish outside the top-ten in 25 ARCA Menards Series starts.
