Just a few days after announcing his debut in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for JR Motorsports, asphalt late-model star Bubba Pollard is set to return to the ARCA Menards platform and set for his ARCA Menards Series East debut at Five Flags Speedway.

The Senoia, Georgia native will take part in both the ARCA Menards Series East 2024 season opener and the ASA STARS/Southern Super Series race the day after. He will be teaming up with long-time Cup Series owner James Finch and Phoenix Racing.

Pollard attempted to make his debut in the ARCA Menards Series East back in 2020, but wasn’t able to compete due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I’m excited for the opportunity to run the ARCA race. With the help of Phoenix Racing and James Finch, we will make our first attempt at Five Flags, a place I call home. This will help us prepare for Richmond,” the former Snowflake 100 winner said.

Pollard has put together a stacked resume of asphalt short-track racing across the United States. Including the All-American 400, the Oxford 250, the Slinger Nationals, and several other accolades.

Joining the 36-year-old in pulling double duty include Jake Finch, the son of Pollard’s ARCA car owner James, and Gio Ruggiero as part of the Family-Funeral & Cremation $5k Double Down bonus.

Pollard is riding a wave of momentum after not only announcing his Xfinity debut but also taking the win in the ASA STARS National Tour season opener back in February at New Smyrna Speedway. His second career ASA STARS Tour win. He currently sits second in driver’s points.

He has made a total of five starts in the ARCA Menards Series national platform between 2005 and 2015. His best career finish is an 11th at Michigan in 2005 and Mobile in 2012.

You can catch Pollard’s ARCA Menards Series East debut with Phoenix Racing on March 23rd live on FloRacing as the Series kicks off its 2024 campaign.
