Treyten Lapcevich, who finished fifth in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series championship standings in his first full-time season last year, will return to the NASCAR Pinty’s Series full-time in 2022 driving the No. 20 entry for 22 Racing.

Additionally, Lapcevich, who took home Rookie of the Year honors last season, has teamed with Patriot Media & Marketing Services for the 2022 season in an effort to push his brand even further.

“I’m excited to join Grant and his team at Patriot for the upcoming season in an effort to bring my racing career to the next level,” Lapcevich said in a press release. “I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish in 2022 running full-time in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series once again, as well as in select late model races across North America.”

Patriot considers Lapcevich a blue-chip prospect and they are happy to help him achieve his goals this season.

“Having Treyten come on board as a client is really quite special,” said Grant Brown, CEO of Patriot Media & Marketing Services. “He is truly one of the top prospects in both the US and Canada, and just having someone under our umbrella with both the talent and tenacity of a potential superstar is a goal we’ve worked hard to attain. We look forward to being able to help push Treyten towards his reaching his full potential as a driver through our marketing program and brand management.”

Lapcevich, a product of Grimsby, Ontario, scored four pole positions, five top-five finishes and seven top-10s last year and he had a best finish of second in NASCAR Pinty’s Series competition.

The 18-year old has already contested some PASS National Tour Late Model events at Hickory Motor Speedway earlier this season, scoring finishes of sixth and 15th. The youngster has Plymouth, Nashville Fairgrounds, Winchester and Five Flags Speedway on his list of tracks, outside of his native Canada, that he would like to compete at this season.

Per the release from Patriot, Lapcevich is targeting running both Outlaw and Pro Late Models.
