Will Power will sport a special livery for the 106th Running of the Indianapolis 500.

Team Penske and Power revealed their uniquely colored No. 12 Verizon 5G Chevrolet at Riley Children’s Health, a hospital that provides access to pediatric primary and specialty care that is located in Indianapolis, Indiana. The color combination is the same blend of Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband promotions.

The NTT IndyCar Series has worked with Riley Children’s for several years, with numerous visits by the drivers to the patients – mostly pre-pandemic – usually occurring during the month of May leading up to the Indy 500.

Power showed off the car at RCH on Wednesday during National Nurses Week. He visited the hospital in 2017 along with his teammates and other drivers in the series.

Penske typically doesn’t change up the 2018 Indy 500 champion’s livery for the big race. Since 2009, Verizon kept Power’s 500 cars the normal black and red combination… until now.
