MADISON, Ill. — Felix Rosenqvist’s qualifying run for Saturday’s Bommarito Automotive Group 500 ended prematurely after a spin on the backstretch.

Rosenqvist was exiting Turn 2 on his first lap and lost control of the No. 7 Arrow McLaren SP Chevrolet.

Rosenqvist slid and had light contact with the inside tire barrier on the backstretch. Rosenqvist was seen and released from the infield care center. The Swedish racer will start 26th in the 260-lap race Saturday evening.
