The NTT IndyCar Series makes its long-awaited return to the Streets of Toronto this weekend, with 25 cars making up the field.

This weekend marks the first time since 2019 that North America’s premier open-wheel championship competes in the Honda Indy Toronto. Simon Pagenaud was the last to conquer the tight 11-turn, 1.786-mile Exhibition Place street circuit.

Chip Ganassi Racing’s Scott Dixon has won the event three times, including the doubleheader in 2013. Team Penske’s Will Power is also a three-time winner in Toronto.

One notable missing from the field this weekend is the No. 11 AJ Foyt Racing Chevrolet and driver Tatiana Calderon. The team withdrew the entry from the weekend due to funding issues and its status for the remainder of the season is unknown.

Marcus Ericsson, driver of the No. 8 Chip Ganassi Racing Honda, enters as the current championship leader, holding a 20-point advantage over Power.

Firestone will provide seven sets of primary (black sidewall) tires, and four sets of the alternate (red sidewall) compound.

Additionally, there will be 200 seconds of Push-to-Pass available for the 85-lap race, which will allow a maximum burst of up to 20 seconds per use. The boost is not available on the initial start or restart unless it is the final two laps or three minutes of a timed race.

The broadcast for the Honda Indy Toronto will begin Sunday at 3 p.m. ET on Peacock.
